Whispering Hearts Infant and Child Care Centre (WHICC) is a community project of Viriya Community Services (VCS), an approved charity under the Charities Act. VCS is a full member of the National Council of Social Service.
Our Mission
We recognise that every child is a unique individual with a capacity to learn and aim to provide him with the right environment and stimulation to grow holistically to his fullest potential.
Our Philosophy
We strive to provide a safe, well-supervised, stimulating and enjoyable environment for the total development of young children of different age levels. Through a warm, caring, trusting and secured environment, we believe that the children under our care will be able to develop to their fullest potential and parents will have a peace of their mind leaving their children in our care while they are at work.
The regular operating hours of both centres are as follows:
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 7.00pm
Saturday - 7.00am to 2.00pm
At WHICC, the operating hours for our half day service are as follows:
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 1.00pm (AM) or 1.00pm to 7.00pm (PM)
Saturday - 7.00am to 1.00pm
Our Centre are closed on Sundays, Public Holidays and a further 5 ½ days for staff retreat and training as well as curriculum planning. These 5,½ days are permitted by MCYS and the days are given in our yearly Calendar of events.
