Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister for Environment, officially opened
the dialysis centre located at Block 113, Teck Whye Lane, Singapore
680113 on 31 March 2002.
We recognise that rehabilitation plays an extremely important
role in ensuring a better quality of life for kidney patients
and hence, include an Exercise & Rehabilitation Centre
for the elderly at our Centre. This is the first of its kind
in Southeast Asia.
The Centre provides dialysis treatment to 108
patients annually as well as a customised exercise programme
for each individual to allow them to stay fit and healthy, ensuring
vitality and independence for the rest of their lives.
