"Lilies on the River" as an annual fund-raising event by Viriya Community Services. It invovles a six month long island-wide fund raising campaign, which ends with a finale carnival at the Singapore River, in which more than 50 000 colourful lilies were floated down Singapore River. Funds raised through this event are used for Viriya programmes supporting children, youths, families and senior citizens in need of community and financial support.
