At the New Paper Wedding Planner, @ Vivocity on 21st to 23rd March 2008 , staff and volunteers took part in our first island wide publicity stint and outreach of our marriage preparation and enrichment programmes. In celebration of We Are Married! 2008, organized by the National Family Council and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, we were keen to introduce and promote our family life education programmes, like ‘Racing for Love’, ‘Love, Sex & Chocolate’ and ‘Partners in Parenting’ to the discerning couples.

The event allowed us to reach out to about 200 couples, where they were exposed to some critical components within the marriage preparation programme, such as ‘Love Languages’ and ‘Couple Compatibility’ and received attractive prizes and goodie bags from our proud sponsors, like NCSS, Philips, NEWater, NTUC, Food & Travel Magazine etc, for their participation.

This event marks perhaps the start of our efforts and attempts at enabling soon-to-be-married and married couples an opportunity to explore the value of marriage preparation and enrichment to their relationship and marriage.
